Baron, Blaire


Blaire Baron (Larsen) is a native Los Angeleno, an actor, playwright and stage director. She attended Marlborough School in Los Angeles and NYU, studying theatre and film. Her career began at age 19 with a guest starring role in the second to last episode ever of Happy Days. She also studied in New York with Actors Studio veterans Geraldine Page and Estelle Parsons, while performing a wide range of roles at Playwrights Horizons and The Roundabout Theater. Blaire participated in the very avaunt garde Off Off Broadway scene by night while playing “Kate Lang” on “The Guiding Light” by day,

Her talents and interests have always been far reaching and “just acting” was never enough to hold her interest. In 200145, Blaire founded a youth arts non-profit: The Los Angeles Drama Club - the Country's Youngest Shakespeare Troupe, where she serves as Artistic Director: bringing Shakespeare to children and youth in South Los Angeles and Hollywood. She devotes her creative talents nurturing young people in the performing arts discipline. Now Hollywood looks for L.A. Drama Club students when casting.. Recently 6 of her students were scouted and cast in the Indie Film, Eat Spirit Eat - Blaire was also cast.

Blaire's latest play, The Basket Weaver, just enjoyed a debut at the 2014 Samuel French OOB Short Play Festival.

Blaire created and produced the Documentary, Women In Boxes, about Magic assistants. The only film in which Teller Speaks on Camera.
